hue

→ hue()

Reads where a colour sits on the colour wheel — 0 to 360.

hue(colour)

The name is left as it stands because no written Setswana word for it exists in any source consulted. The same rule used for sin and log applies here: a name that is written nowhere should not be invented.

The page explains the idea instead: hue says which kind of colour it is — red, green, blue, or something between — and says nothing about how strong or how bright it is. Many colours can share one hue and differ in saturation and phatsimo.

It returns 0–360 by default and it does honour seeloSaMmala: with seeloSaMmala(HSB, 360, 100, 100) set, the returned range follows it.
