TLHAMALALA

→ CHORD

A value that closes an arc with a straight line between its two ends.

TLHAMALALA

You give it to thalaArc as the seventh number. The arc’s two ends are joined by a straight line — one that cuts across the ellipse from one end to the other.

That makes a shape like a half moon when the arc is half the circle, or like a thin slice of loaf when it is small.

The difference from SERIPA: TLHAMALALA joins the ends to each other, straight across, while SERIPA joins them through the middle of the ellipse.
