SEPHAPHATHI

→ SQUARE

A value that cuts the end of a line off flat, exactly at the point given.

SEPHAPHATHI

You give it to ntlhaMothalo. The line simply stops, flat, exactly at the point you gave — it neither runs past it nor rounds off.

SEPHAPHATHI and FETA look alike until you set them side by side: both are flat, but FETA runs past the point by half the stroke weight where SEPHAPHATHI stops on it.

The name describes what happens. Underneath, this is the canvas butt cap — cut off short — while the cap that is square underneath is the other one: FETA. Naming this one “square” would have taught the wrong cap.
