LETA

→ WAIT

The cursor that tells the reader to wait.

LETA

You hand it to khesara. It is the one shown while the computer is busy with something slow — on the web, usually a spinning circle.

Use it carefully. Set it and forget to clear it, and your reader will assume the sketch has died. Every time you set LETA, make sure there is a place that goes back to MOTSWI.

leta is to wait. It appears in written Setswana about computers: “nako e e tlwaelegileng ya go leta ya kgokaganyo ya inthanete” — the usual waiting time of an internet connection.
