borethe

→ smooth()

Draws images with smooth (antialiased) edges.

borethe()

borethe is on by default, so you do not need to call it — it is here so you can come back to it after tlogelaBorethe.

In 2D drawing, these two functions affect images only. They do not touch your shapes or text — a circle drawn under borethe and one drawn under tlogelaBorethe look the same. Scale an image up and tlogelaBorethe gives it visible squares instead of a blur.

So the paragraph above is what teaches this function, not the example below: the difference shows only on a picture that has been scaled up — see thalaSetshwantsho.

One picture, scaled up two ways
tiro setaLoeto() {
  thalaKanefase(400, 220);
  bokamorago(235);

  diri mmala = letela tlisaSetshwantsho('mmala.png');

  // Setshwantsho sa 8x8 se godisitswe makgetlho a le masome a mabedi.
  tlogelaBorethe();
  thalaSetshwantsho(mmala, 20, 30, 160, 160);

  borethe();
  thalaSetshwantsho(mmala, 220, 30, 160, 160);

  tlhalosa('Ditshwantsho tse pedi tse di tshwanang tse di godisitsweng: sa kwa molemeng se na le mefero e e bogale, sa kwa mojeng se tlhakantse mebala.');
}
