TLASE
→ BOTTOMA value that puts the bottom edge of the text at the y you gave.
TLASEIt is the second parameter of rulaganyaMokwalo. With TLASE, the y is the bottom edge of the text box — below the letters that hang down, like g, p and y.
That is where it differs from MOLATLASE: MOLATLASE is the line the letters stand on, while TLASE is under the hanging ones. When a string has no descender the two are nearly the same.
tlase is the partner of GODIMO, and taking the pair in matching shapes keeps them symmetrical. Setswana writes botlase in places and tlase in others; Bopa takes the form that matches GODIMO.
