KGOLOKWE

→ ROUND

A value that rounds off the end of a line, or its corner.

KGOLOKWE

KGOLOKWE is used by two functions:

  • In ntlhaMothalo it makes the end of a line rounded — as though a dot were set down at the tip. This is the default.
  • In kopanoMothalo it rounds off the corner where two segments of a line meet.

It shows only on a thick line — try boketeMothalo(20) first.

The same word is used in the name thalaSediko (circle), because kgolokwe is the Setswana word for a round thing: a ball, a loaf, a circle. Here it describes the shape of the end of a line.
