RIBEGA

→ INVERT

A `tlhotlha` value: turn every colour into its opposite.

tlhotlha(RIBEGA)

Each part of the colour is taken away from 255. Measured: [255, 0, 0] becomes [0, 255, 255], and white [255, 255, 255] becomes black [0, 0, 0].

It is the only one of the commonly used effects that changes every dot of the canvas, including the ones outside the picture — measured.

ribega is the Setswana verb for turning a thing over, reversing which way it faces.
