MOTSWAKO

→ BLEND

The default mode: the new colour sits on top, and mixes with the one beneath where it is see-through.

MOTSWAKO

MOTSWAKO is the mode every sketch starts in. The shape you draw sits on top of what was there.

But when your colour is see-through it really does mix — which is where the name comes from. Draw a half-transparent (100, 150, 200) over (200, 100, 50) and the pixel becomes (150, 125, 125): halfway between the two, channel by channel. When the colour is solid there is no mixing — the new simply covers the old.
