SOFT_LIGHT

→ SOFT_LIGHT

A gentler `HARD_LIGHT` — the same idea, applied lightly.

SOFT_LIGHT

SOFT_LIGHT does what HARD_LIGHT does, without pressing. The changes are small, and the colour already on the canvas still shows through.

Measured: (100, 150, 200) over (200, 100, 50) gives (191, 111, 86) — compare HARD_LIGHT’s (157, 127, 166). Notice how much closer SOFT_LIGHT’s result stays to the (200, 100, 50) background.

The name stays English, together with HARD_LIGHT — see its page.
